If you have 2 choices between fulfilling others' request but sacrificing what you like or what you want to do and doing what you like but sacrificing others' pleasure, what will you choose? why?
I grew up in a Persian-American household and I was always taught to take care of others needs first. You offer tea and appetizers to elders and take whats left. I was always taught to sacrifice my pleasure for the pleasure of others.
I grew up in China and the same thing as top. I was taught to respect the elder, be nice to others and respect people. know the manners and things. I would sacrifice my pleasure if it will help the other person. It depend on the situation, if me quit playing game even though i don't play that much but i love to play. and if that can quit a person quit drug then why not. I like to help people

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Nicolette. Being from a filipino culture, i was also taught to always put others ahead of yourself.
