I think the best way to greet someone is to shake their hand firmly but friendly and to make eye contact. Let them know you are truly interested in meeting them.
Probably the most common and "proper" way to greet someone would be to introduce yourself with a handshake and eye contact. Although, in a more relaxed setting I do tend to make it a lot more casual. I think the best thing you can do, regardless of the setting, is to be confident and have strong eye contact.
(and this is TORI CARROLL, idk why but this blogger is giving me issues...)
I would have to agree with Tori Carroll and Marion Sanborn. Introducing yourself and then a name to go along with your face so they don't forget you. Going about it in a calm and casual way makes it comfortable for both of you so that helps.
I think the best way is to just introduce yourself and try to let the conversation flow. It isn't good to be shy because it'll most likely just make the opposite person awkward. It's always best to look confident and willing to meet new people.
I think the best way to meet someone new is definitely to tell them your name and then ask them their name. And of course with a smile, because the first impression is important.
Just be exactly who you are. Sounds cliche, but its better than being someone you are not. If they are not accepting of who you are or the way you act, then so be it. Do not take anything too personal, some people are just not compatible with certain other people. Move on from there. I think that's they best way of meeting the right people in your life.
try to ask the name? continue with school major work job hobby.. i'm not sure though

ReplyDeleteAs the other people were saying, a handshake and introducing yourself would be a good impression to others. Get to know the person.

ReplyDeleteTry to introduce yourself, and maybe crack a joke to lighten the mood. Also, give them your name and handshake
ReplyDeleteI think being friendly is the best way. Don't come out too strong, though. Some people might not like that.
