Asian American Literature
After taking this class, do you tend to look at Asians, as well as other cultures in a different way? Have you learned about something that you would have never thought to learn about before?
From my experience, as important as our class topics was, I think it has been overly discussed. Some people have not have much discussion with it in the past, but I have. I attended UCSC last year, and stereotypes was a huge topic. So a lot of this was pretty same for me. Although some of it was intriguing, none of it was really new. I really enjoyed about learning different peoples personal experience as they are always different within every class and I thank people for sharing, but the topics themselves were nothing new.
