HI! My name is Manisha,It is very good question.Definitely Food is a reflection of individual's culture and society. I totally agree.
Yes it is good way to learn.my culture food is kim chi, but it contains different ways to learn and make it. it is interesting.
i don't totally agree with that. because people easily just eat every food that comes in mind or maybe in front of them.
I agree with Manisha. Food is definitely a great way to explore a culture or society. Through going out to eat at ethnic restaurants or following recipies, you can see what ingredients are popular in a certain cultures food and you can compare and contrast these to your own culture. Stews made with curry are usually representative of indian food while hamburgers are known as American food.
I think food does have a big impact on someones culture. The ingredients or a specific dish can show a persons culture. Being a filipino american, you will find dishes that you wont find any other place except for a filipino household or a restaurant. Especially in America. With all the fast food chains, it really shows how Americans are always on the move and it also shows you that eating at a dinner table as a family is not really valued like many other countries.
I gree with that. The food can represent their culture and background.
