Curiosity

Have you ever been curios what it would be like to be a different race? What race would you wish to be? What do you think would be the differences in a day in the life?

  1. HI! My name is Manisha,
It's a very good question. well, I am south eastern Asian and happy to be Asian. but answer to your question is... I want to be Japanese so I can be perfectionist like them. I want to be Korean so I can buy lots of BB creams for me and can have good skin. I want to be Chinese so I can learn about ancient cooking secrets from my Chinese mom, but I am Indian, and I am Happy to be Indian.

  2. I would want to be a Japanese because I've always admired people who can speak in Japanese. I would also really like to be an American, because I want to speak English really well and fluently. I think if I were to become a Japanese, I would probably want to experience life in their houses, because Japanese houses are not like any other houses. I want to experience sleeping "on the floor" and living in a house where the walls are separated only by a thin layer. I think if I were an American, the biggest difference would probably be the main language (English) that I speak with people around me.

  3. Yeah if anything I would want to be more Japanese. If I could speak Japanese I feel like my life would be complete as far as language learning is concerned. Japanese culture just really interests me and I think I would really love enjoying their food and their overall style of living. Plus all the manga, video games, anime and all the things that are made in Japan would be available to me just a block or two away. Yeah, that would be quite an experience to say the least.

  4. I would like to be Japanese or Korean and see how their cultures are different from my own Chinese upbringing. The countries are so close together and yet there are many differences that make each race so fascinating and unique.

  5. I am content with being Korean, but I'm pretty curious to see how people those of European descent live (the French, British, Spaniards, ect). The cultures seems similar enough to Americans yet different at the same time. They are all definitely different from being Korean. But when it comes down to it, I'll choose to remain Korean.

  6. I am happy being Chinese, but if i were to choose Japanese. Because I am interested in how the Japanese culture is different from my Chinese culture although we are both from Asia. So I would like to experience the difference.

  8. A lot of the Southeastern European countries like Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania seem really interesting to me, just because the language is so uncommon and unknown, their culture not being mainstream (except for my big fat greek wedding). K-Town cowboys got me interested in the Korean culture as well, but I think Brazilians and Hawaiians are cool too, they seem like happy people. I think I have a good understanding of other Asian cultures, i'd really like to know more about the cultures that are vastly different and not in the media light, such as Eskimo culture, or something.

  9. That's good question. I want to be an American because America is a big country, so my hair can be yellow. and sometimes iw ant to be a Chinese because I can learn acting.
